That is quite a good article. And you'll have to run that Star Wars expierment on your kid and let me how it turns out, I'm curious.
I would think the ending of "Empire" in particular would fall completly flat, considering that the viewer would already know the big revelation.
Wow, that's the exact same thought I had about the end of ESB. Great nerds think alike.
Though, the viewer would still feel a bit of Luke's emotional crisis upon realizing that his father is the greatest war criminal in all of the galaxy. Not quite the same as the scene played originally, but still something.
